Description
Typically a lighter spring is needed when using a compensator or ported barrels. Shooters who have converted down a caliber, i.e. .40 to 9mm with a conversion barrel, may also need to go down a spring weight if they’re experiencing failure to feed/eject issues. A heavier spring is needed if you’re shooting “stiff” loads. Competition shooters “tune” their springs to the loads they use and to their shooting style to help keep the gun on target during double taps. We offer several different spring weights that will allow you to tune the spring to get the most speed and accuracy.
Recoil springs should be changed after 5,000 rounds.
